Salary range for the position is $116,591 to $167,600. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.

How will you create an impact

The Director, Supply Chain is responsible for the overall development and maintenance of strategic and operational relationships with internal and external partners. This includes other health authorities, provincial organizations and private sector suppliers with whom we develop service-related relationships. A significant focus of the Director, Supply Chain is participating as part of the provincial health system supply chain in an effort to drive improvements and optimize operations, performance, and costs. As an advocate for Interior Health supply chain needs, the Director is responsible for monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of provincial service level agreements, and negotiating changes and priorities with the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA).

What will you work on:

  1. Monitors performance and holds the provincial supply chain accountable for meeting service level agreements and KPIs.
  2. Identifies persistent or critical challenges, leveraging lessons and insights from clinical and operational teams, and other key supply chain customers within IH.
  3. Represents IH at governance committees, including PHSA’s Category Management and Supply Chain Operations Committees.
  4. Provides input into shaping the provincial supply chain strategy, policies, and metrics, while advocating for the unique and nuanced needs of IH, including business continuity requirements.
