What You'll Do:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial construction sector.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan that aligns with company growth objectives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and key decision-makers.
  • Qualify leads and convert them into compelling proposals and successful deals.
  • Lead the preparation of persuasive presentations and bid submissions.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including estimating, operations, and project management—to ensure smooth project development.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5-10 years of experience in business development within the construction industry (a degree in Business, Construction Management or equivalent is an asset).
  • A proven track record of securing new business and building strong industry relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM experience is a plus.
