Position Title: Economist


Role Description:


Core member of the research team responsible for producing written reports covering data commentary and thematic ideas on the U.S., Canadian, and Global economies for our client base of institutional asset managers, financial advisors, and high-net-worth individual investors.



Key Requirements for the Role:

  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience producing written reports on economic topics
  • Strong data handling and visualization skills in MS Excel and statistical software (Python/R coding and/or Bloomberg experience a plus)
  • High level of familiarity with the U.S. economy and high-frequency U.S. economic data flow.
  • Ability to generate new and distinctive ideas for research themes
  • Comfortable working standalone and/or in small research groups
  • Professionalism and enthusiasm to serve and inform clients, and a “self-starter” attitude.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in economics (macro specialty) or close equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
