REQUIRED: Security clearance requirement is must.

Security Clearance (Enhanced Reliability Status) from Government of Canada or the candidate should be a resident of Canada for 5 continuous years. Must have or be able to qualify for a Government of Canada security clearance (minimum ‘Reliability’ level). A minimum of five years of Canadian residency with no travel outside of Canada longer than one month. Travel outside Canada is okay if it is less than one month. A clean record is required for a ‘Reliability’ level security clearance. All applicants will be required to undergo a background check.**

Candidates should have NO misdemeanors or felonies on their record in the past seven years. Make certain that you ask each candidate if there will be any problem with the background check including visa status.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for design and implementation of cloud-based solutions for internal and external customers.
  • Design and deployment of Azure solutions that include high availability, multi-regions.
  • Responsible for technical incident management and resolving technical issues, serve as technical escalation point within the team and participate in case triage meetings.
  • Maintain various production and development environments hosted in Azure for our customers.
  • Participate in all aspects of the deployment life cycle for Azure solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance and produce associated artefacts.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix, and implement preventive measures.
  • Perform configuration updates and enhancements per vendor recommendations for cloud services configured.
  • Configure auditing, monitoring, and alerting for solutions/services deployed in azure cloud.
  • Automation of deployment process or any other repeatable tasks.
  • Lead security controls implementation to comply with regulations and policies and relevant frameworks/standards such as ISO27001, NIST, ITSG-33.
  • Monitor and manage security dashboards in Azure Sentinel/Azure Security Center/ Office 365, customize dashboards and reports, produce metrics per client needs.
  • Monitor health of Security solutions such as Firewall, Intrusion prevention Systems, Identity management, Endpoint Security, etc. for cloud based and on-premise systems.
  • Work with Business and IT Tier2/Tier3 Support engineers and/or vendor’s/partner technology teams to resolve issues.
  • The ability and flexibility to work in shifts when necessary, Prepare Shift turnover and Shift Report to ensure continuous smooth .
  • Support pre-sales activity for new initiatives and potential opportunities.
  • Guide junior Security operations teams in incident response and SOC functions.
  • 4 years of experience in IT Infrastructure solutions implementation and support and minimum 4 years with Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Hands-on experience to install, configure, test, and deploy enterprise and multi-cloud network infrastructure.
  • Scripting and coding skills – PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Azure DevOps, Git, Azure Automation.
  • Experience with networking and security concepts, methods and technologies in large scale, production Azure and hybrid environments.
  • Experience with Active Directory administration and update management.
  • Experience with log collection tools and analysis, as well as infrastructure performance monitoring tools and optimization practices.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise software products and services.


Preferred to have at least one of the below Azure Certifications:

  • AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate
  • AZ-204 Azure Developer Associate
  • AZ-305 – Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
  • SC-300 - Identity and Access Administrator Associate
