Position Summary: Business Development Executive will play a key role in establishing and fostering relationships with potential customers engaged in freight movement across various transportation modes. The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Relationship Building: Contribute to the growth of our business by forging strong and lasting relationships with customers. Gain an in-depth understanding of their needs and consistently exceed their expectations.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales call goals while effectively managing a sales funnel. A proactive approach will be essential in identifying new customers and opportunities.
  • Market Expansion: Utilize the hunter mindset to actively seek out new customers and potential opportunities for business development.
  • Relationship Leveraging: Capitalize on existing relationships to position Linear as the preferred new vendor in the market.
  • Collaborative Energy: Demonstrate a collaborative and team-oriented mindset to work alongside an exceptional team of operators. Embrace the challenge with enthusiasm and contribute to the collective success of the organization.
  • Data Entry and CRM Management: Ensure accurate and timely data entry of sales leads and maintain contacts made with potential or existing clients in HubSpot CRM. Utilize HubSpot tools to streamline communication and enhance customer relationship management.
  • Relationship Management: Grow and manage relationships, ensuring sustained and mutually beneficial partnerships.

Qualifications:


  • Post Secondary education, and 5+ years experience in Freight brokerage experience is a must; combination of Education and Experience may be considered.
  • Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • CRM experience, preferably Hubspot is desired.
