Position Description

▪ This role serves as the team leader for full-time employees, including Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) CNC Administrators assigned to the core JDE CNC Administration Professional Services and Managed Services Teams

▪ This position has the primary responsibility of leading strategic technical design, planning, execution, and implementation of Enterprise0ne projects with the professional services branch of CNC delivery

▪ This role requires the individual to possess the ability to work independently as well as with other delivery teams in highly diverse and integrated hardware/software/cloud environments

▪ This position is that of a premiere Subject Matter Expert (SME) in CNC delivery such as full implementations, upgrades, re-platforming, conversions, and migrations ensuring solutions meet client's business objectives

▪ This role establishes a high level of trust and confidence with customers in Centrilogic knowledge and ability to mesh the business needs with the technical architecture required

▪ This position ensures that all projects provide proper delivery and architectural documentation

▪ This role requires a willingness to collaborate with customers and consultants (of varying levels of technical expertise) in high-pressure, complex environments showing leadership and guidance to customers, as well as the Centrilogic CNC team

▪ This position is also an escalation point for the CNC Administration team members

▪ This position reports to the Director of the JD Edwards Practice

▪ This position expects the Team Lead to still perform Technical Managed Services and Project work.


Duties and Responsibilities


▪ Responsible for resolving client issues and concerns on JDE CNC Managed Services and Professional Services contracts

▪ Participates in service delivery conflict resolution and escalations

▪ Continuous improvement and standardization within the team

→ Developing templates, content, and documentation repository

→ Use and development of tools

→ Develops and improves service delivery processes

▪ Contribute to Sales objectives (e.g., scoping, estimating) for all JDE Technical CNC services

▪ Contribute to Centrilogic project methodology from a JDE Technical CNC point of view

▪ Issues that cross over from Functional to CNC/Special Project

▪ Contribute to budget planning for the team

▪ Help uncover revenue opportunities

▪ Provide Pre-Sales, Sales, and Marketing technical support as requested

▪ Work with other Centrilogic divisions to provide the best technical solutions at the best revenue base

▪ Develop resource pipeline for external consultants

▪ Scope and resource CNC Professional Services Projects and Managed Services Accounts

▪ Manage internal and external technical consultants for Projects

▪ Resolve internal consultant issues and CNC client delivery issues

▪ Maintain and strive to improve CNC Operations and Delivery

▪ Designs and implements EnterpriseOne solutions considering customer business requirements and applying the principles of scalability, recoverability, availability, and elasticity

▪ Designs and implements technical implementation strategy considering customer timelines and requirements

▪ Makes technical recommendations beyond the JDE application footprint and logical configuration that consider the other layers of the compute stack – like network and virtualization (e.g., leveraging cloud and utility technologies, where needed, for production or business continuity)

▪ Stays current with new EnterpriseOne tools and technical features

▪ Provides knowledge transfer of Project work to Manages Services, where applicable

▪ Provides cloud operations support for customers where self-provisioning is available

▪ Technical upgrades from all versions (ranging from XE to 9.2)

▪ Other duties as assigned


Employee Management


▪ Mentors and guides employees for the JDE CNC Administration Team

▪ Assist team members with ticket resolution

▪ Assist with performance evaluations, and recommendations for career improvement

▪ Manages vacation/availability for the core team members

▪ Participate with recruiting tasks (e.g., defining team needs, interviewing potential candidates)

▪ Assist with Practice Director on:

→ Hiring new team members

→ Employee Disciplines

→ Performance Evaluations

▪ Responsible for successful onboarding of new team members including contractors

Quality

▪ Review all Statement of Work (SOWs) that include a JDE Functional resource before the SOW is sent to the client. Assist with the development of SOWs and estimates levels of effort.

▪ Review all tangible deliverables (e.g., Assessments) before the deliverable is sent to the client

▪ Contribute to overall customer service improvements for Centrilogic


Required Experience & Skills


▪ 3-5 years' technical management experience

▪ 7-10 years' experience with JD Edwards CNC

▪ Develops and maintains strong working relationships across departments

▪ Experience in designing and installing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems on-premise and in the cloud

▪ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing proposals or papers, making presentations to customer audiences or professional peers, and working closely with upper management

▪ Ability to identify tasks which require automation and execute same

▪ General understanding of and experience working with all RDBMS platforms supported by EnterpriseOne

▪ Solid understanding of and experience working with all Operating System platforms supported by EnterpriseOne

▪ Basic understanding of all application/database interfaces supported by EnterpriseOne

▪ Strong understanding of EnterpriseOne Development and Object Management tools

▪ Strong understanding of advanced features such as cloud architectures, high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery

▪ Able to configure and install all features and functionality needed to support large accounts

▪ Strong analytical ability to choose and communicate the correct options for incidents and problems related to system availability and performance

▪ Work with vendors to solve complex issues related to system performance and enhancements

▪ Experience performing data conversion from source to target RDBMS of JDE data

▪ Strong customer focus and management of client expectations

▪ Ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence

▪ Ability to write clear proposals and technical documents

▪ Solid technical project management skills, effectively managing multiple small to large projects simultaneously

▪ Ability to weigh various suggested technical solutions against the original business needs and choose the most cost-effective solution
