Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Representative for a contract, part-time role servicing the Downtown Toronto area and Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Canada. As a Safety Representative, you will conduct pre-scheduled safety inspections across various properties managed by our property management clients. You will receive comprehensive training and access to our cutting-edge safety platform to effectively perform these on-site inspections and uphold the highest safety standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the health and safety field. You will work closely with experienced professionals, enhancing your skills and knowledge in a practical, real-world setting.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Some proficiency in using safety platform technology for conducting inspections.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Enrolment in an Occupational Health and Safety program, Property Management program or related field is a plus.
  • Experience in property management is an asset.
  • Construction experience is an asset.
  • A reliable vehicle is required for travel within the Greater Toronto Area, or you must be able to travel around Toronto and downtown Toronto using other modes of transportation.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $20 to $25
