Position Overview

Diverso Energy is seeking an experienced leader who will oversee all aspects of our commercial geothermal installation. The VP of Fulfillment will lead the development and execution of construction initiatives that align with business goals and objectives. This role will encompass various project aspects, from planning to completion.


The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in people and process management, project management, demonstrated technical and financial expertise in commercial building construction. Through exceptional leadership skills, this individual will promote a safety-first environment, where quality control leads to increased efficiency and innovation within the team. This role will ultimately be responsible for the performance and success of our Geothermal Projects.


The role will be GTA-based and will have the opportunity to work remotely, in-office and on site. The VP of Fulfillment will report directly to the CTO and will be an integral part of the senior leadership team.



Essential Job Functions

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive quality control, growth and profitability within the fulfillment team.
  • Supervise projects from conception to completion.
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.


Health and Safety:

  • Assist in the implementation of organizational health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards governing geothermal installation activities, promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.


Coordination and Direction:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of senior managers, geothermal drillers, technicians, and project managers to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with commercial clients, addressing their needs and concerns, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with geothermal installation projects, implementing appropriate measures to minimize potential impacts on project outcomes.


Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive workplace culture and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Maintain a productive work environment.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Establish appropriate KPIs and a performance management structure. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and innovate within the geothermal installation division.


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensuring quality construction standards and proper construction techniques.
  • Ensure quality standards and the use of proper techniques.
  • Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and maximize project profitability.


Budget and Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and analyze financial performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.


Technical Expertise:

  • With the support of the Chief Technical Officer, provide technical guidance and support to project teams, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.



Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial building construction or related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing building construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building construction, including design principles, specifications, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and interface with clients.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, with experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Write and communicate professionally and have knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suites.

  • Work well independently or in a team setting.
