Skills and Responsibilities:

•Advanced degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or similar.

•Extensive experience as a data scientist

•Hands-on Years of experience in related field.

•Proficiency in R or Python, where the former is preferred.

•Solid and demonstrable knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.

•Excellent programming skills in languages such as Java or Python.

•Experience with big data technologies and data analysis software like R.

•Proficiency in deploying scalable machine learning solutions in production environments, leveraging cloud platforms (AWS Cloud) and technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

•Exposure to natural language processing, image processing techniques, and big data stacks like Hadoop or Apache Spark is highly desirable.

•Strong background in designing and implementing deep learning architectures, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), and Transformer models, to solve complex problems in natural language processing, and sequential data analysis.

•Proficient in the ethical and responsible use of AI, including understanding biases in data and models, ensuring privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR), and promoting transparency and fairness in machine learning applications.

•Familiarity with NoSQL databases, enterprise search technologies, and recommendation systems.

•Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

•In-depth understanding of SQL.

•Demonstrable history of devising and overseeing data-centered projects.

•Ability to relay insights in layman’s terms, such that these can be used to inform business decisions.

•Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity.

•Proficient in utilizing big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and Hadoop for handling and analyzing large datasets, enabling the extraction of meaningful insights from voluminous data.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Formulating, suggesting, and managing data-driven projects that are geared at furthering business interests.

•Developing and implementing advanced analytics models.

•Leading data-driven decision-making processes.

•Managing data science projects from conception to deployment.

•Collating and cleaning data from various entities for use in downstream system / reporting.

•Selecting and employing advanced statistical procedures to obtain actionable insights.

•Cross-validating models to ensure their generalizability.

•Producing and disseminating nontechnical reports that detail the successes and limitations of each project.

•Suggesting ways in which insights are obtained might be used to inform business strategies.

•Staying informed about developments in Data Science and adjacent fields to ensure that outputs are always relevant.

•Working closely / collaboration with business partners and IT, facilitating business requirement elicitation sessions.

•Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to elicit, define, and develop strategic deliverables for complex initiatives. This involves ensuring comprehensive understanding and alignment.

•Apply Agile techniques, such as user story mapping, personas, and story point estimation, to facilitate effective requirements gathering, analysis, and prioritization.

•Provide expert technical guidance within your domain to address and anticipate business implications resulting from organizational changes and technological advancements.

•Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and innovation.

•Develop and present comprehensive recommendations and options to address and resolve complex business challenges, leveraging your expertise and industry best practices.

•Review high-level designs, test strategies, and test plans to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and overall requirements.
