- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to elicit, define, and develop strategic deliverables for complex initiatives.
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar.
- Extensive experience as a Data Scientist.
- Hands-on experience in related fields.
- Proficiency in R or Python, with a preference for R.
- Solid and demonstrable knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
- Excellent programming skills in languages such as Java or Python.
- Experience with big data technologies and data analysis software like R.
- Proficiency in deploying scalable machine learning solutions in production environments, leveraging cloud platforms (AWS Cloud) and technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Exposure to natural language processing, image processing techniques, and big data stacks like Hadoop or Apache Spark is highly desirable.
- Strong background in designing and implementing deep learning architectures, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), and Transformer models, to solve complex problems in natural language processing, and sequential data analysis.
- Proficient in the ethical and responsible use of AI, including understanding biases in data and models, ensuring privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR), and promoting transparency and fairness in machine learning applications.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, enterprise search technologies, and recommendation systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- In-depth understanding of SQL.
- Demonstrable history of devising and overseeing data-centered projects.
- Ability to relay insights in layman's terms, such that these can be used to inform business decisions.
- Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Proficient in utilizing big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and Hadoop for handling and analyzing large datasets, enabling the extraction of meaningful insights from voluminous data.
