Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Design team, in the Structures Group, based in the Fredericton office.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of building systems and detailing, with the ability to work independently, developing and coordinating contract documents and document checking.
- Work in a collaborative environment with the Project Manager, Engineer, and other Technical and Design Staff.
- Complete technical drawings in Revit.
- Additional duties as determined based on the knowledge and experience of the applicant.
- Our Moncton or Saint John offices may be considered as a location for this position.
What your experience looks like
- 5+ years' progressive experience working as a Structural Technologist.
- Graduation from an Electronic Engineering Technology program accredited by NBSCETT (New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists) or graduate from an accredited 3-year clinical engineering technology program. Must be eligible for certification by NBSCETT.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D producing technical documents and construction drawings.
- Knowledge and understanding of architectural standards, building sciences, construction technologies and practices.
- Ability to work with a team to produce working drawings and 3D models of structural designs for innovative multi-disciplinary projects.
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Dedicated to meeting project deadlines and working efficiently.
- Possess exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently.
- Ability to manage a number of tasks on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to provide and receive feedback positively.
- Experience with bridge projects would be considered an asset.
