Reporting to the Product Director, Security, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Security cloud offerings and ensuring that our Cloud Marketplace meets the evolving needs of our customers.

The Product Manager is ultimately responsible for the definition and successful execution of our strategies to meet aggressive growth objectives in this important service category within Sherweb.

You will need to drive key deliverables on both strategy and execution.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the product portfolio, (features, functionalities, technical specifications, use cases etc.) Familiarity with relevant stakeholders, product history for making well-informed decisions.
  • Defining and communicating the vision (Short term, long term) of the product family/practice that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Responsible for the overall P&L profitability and budgeting (per function, RTB vs investments, etc.).
  • Responsible for monitoring the market and competitive landscape and linking it to our strategy. Where do we play?
  • Conducting SWOT analysis to better understand our positioning.
  • Articulate our value proposition to attract, grow and retain our customer base. How do we win?
  • In collaboration with Marketing, develop positioning and messaging that resonates with our Partners, relating product capabilities in terms that they understand, care about, and are willing to pay for.
  • Define how our services are priced considering our distribution model and cost structure.
  • Develop cross-sell and bundling product strategies.
  • Perform data analysis to produce forecasts and identify trends.
  • Quarterback the go-to-market strategy to successfully launch new products.
  • Outline and track our product objectives with regards to reach, penetration, sales churn reduction, customer retention, and revenue growth.
  • Identifying and pursuing business opportunities related to product and evaluate potential software vendors (buy/build/partner).

For execution, the key deliverables are

  • Engaging with customers (partners/retail) to understand their needs, gather feedback (surveys, events, escalation cases, etc.), and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assume impactful leadership cross functionally for the service category, ensuring aligned execution by all.
  • Manage the relationship with our main vendors (discovery, ambassadorship, negotiations and more) by leading regular meetings and maximizing profitable collaboration opportunities.
  • Understanding product integration into Platform, relevant product processes (transfer in / out, migrations, billing information, scope of support, etc.).
  • As required, act as the owner of internal business cases and related projects.

Here's what you need to have and master to get the job

  • Proven experience in product management (5+), distribution of Saas Security products an asset.
  • A creative mind for problem solving, even outside your direct field of expertise.
  • Strong go to market skills and knowledge of the Security market, segmentation, offers, packaging, and strategies.
  • Financial acumen, understanding of basic financial and accounting principles.
  • Strong ability to leverage product management tools to create and present processes and workflows.
  • Ability to lead through influence in cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, client experience and agile engineering to ensure successful product launches.
  • Strong communication skills, used to tailor the message to different levels of audience including to senior executives internally and externally. Experience as a public speaker an asset.
  • Excellent understanding of the MSP market and its related products a must.
  • Ability to inspire through clear and engaging vision, strategies and stories.
  • Think big, start small and move fast, and deliver client-value consistently.
  • Solid command of the fundamentals of marketing research, positioning development and analytics.
  • Proactive, demonstrates initiative, strong at generating ideas.
  • Strong relationship-management and negotiation skills, including experience with vendors.
