About the Company:

Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider specializing in delivering top-tier cybersecurity solutions to clients worldwide. Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Consultant with a strong PreSales focus and deep expertise in the Microsoft Security Stack. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the sales process by helping prospective clients understand the value of the security solutions, addressing their challenges, and designing robust security architectures that leverage Microsoft’s cutting-edge technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Proposal Development:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify security-related opportunities, understanding the client’s security challenges and requirements.
  • Design and architect comprehensive security solutions using the Microsoft Security Stack, including Microsoft Defender, Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft 365 Security.
  • Develop detailed proposals, including technical solution descriptions, architecture diagrams, and cost estimates, that demonstrate the value of our security offerings.
  • Technical Presentations and Demonstrations:
  • Lead technical presentations and live demonstrations of Microsoft Security solutions to prospective clients, showcasing how our solutions can address their specific security needs.
  • Customize demos to align with the client’s industry, security posture, and compliance requirements, effectively communicating the benefits of our solutions.
  • Client Engagement and Relationship Building:
  • Engage with clients at multiple levels, from IT security teams to C-level executives, to build strong relationships and serve as a trusted security advisor throughout the sales process.
  • Address client questions, concerns, and objections, providing clear and concise responses that build confidence in our solutions.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) Management:
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for Microsoft Security solutions, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure success.
  • Analyze PoC results, present findings to clients, and provide strategic recommendations based on the outcomes.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
  • Work in close coordination with product management, engineering, and delivery teams to stay up to date on the latest developments within the Microsoft Security Stack.
  • Provide feedback from client engagements to inform product roadmaps and improve solution offerings.
  • Thought Leadership and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Contribute to the creation of technical content, including whitepapers, case studies, and blogs, to support marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, cybersecurity threats, Microsoft Security advancements, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in PreSales engineering or solution architecture, with a focus on cybersecurity.
  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft Security Stack, including Microsoft Defender, Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft 365 Security, in a PreSales capacity.
  • Proven track record of supporting successful sales engagements and driving revenue growth through technical security expertise.
  • Skills:
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex security concepts into compelling business value propositions.
  • Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Azure for creating demos and presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications:
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications in Security, such as Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
