Position Summary

We’re hiring for a Talent Acquisition Specialist for an 18-month contract, hybrid role based out of Mississauga, ON. Responsibilities include full lifecycle recruiting for retail field leadership positions. Source, recruit, assess and provide a short list of qualified candidates for all external hiring opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with field hiring managers to understand talent needs and priorities to ensure successful recruitment efforts.
  • Responsible for full life-cycle recruitment- source, screen, recruit, interview, recommend, and hire the best-in-class talent.
  • Build a candidate network that relies on pro-active sourcing techniques and on-going candidate engagement.
  • Recommend recruitment ideas and strategies that build a talent readiness for the organization.
  • Develop reputation as trusted advisor to your field partners based on market knowledge
  • Support with the execution of hiring events, job fairs and staffing for new store locations
  • Assist the organization in building the talent pipeline and contribute to strategic workforce planning
  • Leverage tools, technology and processes to streamline recruitment activities and build talent acquisition capability across the organization.


Qualifications

  • Strong functional expertise that includes 3-5 years of high-volume full-cycle recruiting (including sourcing on LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed)
  • Lead and support Workday Implementation for the Talent Acquisition function
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast, roll up your sleeves environment where finding the BEST person for the job is what you’re driven to do.
  • Having a reputation for outstanding ability to generate candidates (active & passive)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Innate ability to read people, build trust and instill action
  • Keen understanding of a multi-unit retail environment
  • Strong functional expertise that includes multiple sourcing techniques
