L’Assemblée des Premières Nations est à la recherche d’un(e) agent(e) subalterne des finances très organisé(e) et soucieux(euse) du détail qui, sous la direction du dirigeant principal des finances, sera chargé(e) d’appuyer les agents des finances afin de veiller à ce que les coûts soient répartis selon les procédures établies. Ces procédures sont conformes aux budgets approuvés ainsi qu’au contrôle des comptes et des registres pour les décaissements, les frais de voyage et les contrats de service.
Relevant du dirigeant principal des finances (DPF), le(la) candidat(e) retenu(e) aura les principales fonctions et responsabilités suivantes :
- Effectuer les activités financières quotidiennes, comme les comptes créditeurs et débiteurs, l’impression des chèques et la comptabilisation des écritures de journal.
- Préparer les rapprochements des comptes du bilan de fin de mois.
- Contribuer à l’examen des déclarations et des paiements relatifs à la TPS, à la TVP, à la TVQ et aux TNS.
- Participer aux vérifications et aux efforts de recueil de données et préparer des explications pour les vérificateurs.
- Aider l’équipe des finances pour les décaissements, les frais de déplacement et les contrats de service.
- Anticiper et répondre rapidement aux demandes d’information et d’action liées aux finances et aux informations pertinentes dans l’ensemble du Secteur et des autres secteurs de l’APN.
- Contribuer aux tâches de saisie des données du Secteur des finances.
- Effectuer d’autres tâches à la demande du DPF.
- 1 à 2 ans d’expérience en comptabilité, expérience au sein d’une association caritative ou d’une organisation à but non lucratif et un diplôme universitaire en commerce, affaires ou comptabilité, ou une combinaison d’éducation et d’expérience.
- L’obtention en cours d’un titre comptable CPA, CA/CGA est un atout.
- Connaissance et compréhension approfondies des pratiques et procédures financières courantes et reconnues.
- Grand souci du détail et de l’exactitude.
- Une expérience de travail avec les communautés des Premières Nations est un atout.
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles, gestion de projet, travail d’équipe et jugement.
- Diplomatie, tact et capacité à prendre des décisions, planification et sens de l’organisation.
- Aptitude avérée à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et à fixer des priorités afin d’assurer la réalisation du travail dans les délais impartis.
- Solides compétences informatiques (ACCPAC et Excel).
- L’anglais est la langue de travail, mais la capacité à communiquer efficacement en français ou dans une langue autochtone est un atout.
