The Canadian Paralympic Committee is seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to support the Director, Finance, Risk & Operations in financial management, reporting, and analysis. This role will also provide secondary support to the Paralympic Foundation of Canada for business continuity.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration and 3-5 years of accounting experience. They will be pursuing their CPA designation and have advanced skills in Excel, Smartsheet, and Microsoft tools. Expertise in Microsoft Business Central and nonprofit accounting, including fund and grant accounting, is also required.

The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining account structures, preparing budget templates, processing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank accounts. They will also assist in the preparation of year-end audit working papers and provide support for the annual audit.

The successful candidate will be a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They will be able to innovate, be solutions-oriented, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. A strong understanding of financial systems, financial reporting, and budget preparation is essential.
