The Role:
ThePayroll Administrator role will report to the Sr. Manager of Payroll. You will contribute to processing payroll for our Canadian and US employees.
Responsibilities:
Canada/United States Payroll
- Responsible for running 2 payrolls for 900 employees across Canada, including reviewing and auditing all payroll data to ensure data is accurate for payroll processing
- Answer questions and administrator pay practices
- Work with US team and Payroll Manager to gather data and ensure accurate data
- Facilitate payroll corrections, retro-pay, ROEs and all other changes related to payroll
Qualifications:
- Must have past experience with Payroll
- Demonstrated familiarity of HR functions and customer service aptitude
- High capacity of accuracy and the ability to enter or review data quickly
- Ability to handle diverse and confidential information requiring extreme accuracy, independent judgement, and discretion
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while working with HR records
- Payroll Taxation experience preferred
- Good communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely respond to inquiries
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment with a commitment to the overall success of the organization
- Strong work ethic and high-level of integrity needed for working with confidential information
- Demonstrative ability showing strong analytical, problem-solving skills and is cognizant of adequate response times
