The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Retirement Strategic Resource Manager (RSRM). In this pivotal role, you will support the growth and development of our sales culture with a focus on the Retirement business. As an integral point of contact for resource curation and project coordination, you will plan, execute, and oversee the successful completion of projects to support our strategic objectives.
Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, the ideal candidate will have expertise in group retirement plans in Canada and possess a blend of technical skills, industry knowledge, and interpersonal abilities to enhance our Employee Benefits & Retirement team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze data to inform decisions.
A day in the life:
- Group Retirement Plan Expertise: Understanding of retirement savings plans in Canada and a willingness to learn about this fast evolving industry.
- Graphic Design & Visual Storytelling: Create compelling visuals and design elements to communicate complex savings information effectively.
- Copywriting: Craft clear, persuasive, and engaging content.
- Power BI Dashboarding: Proficiency in creating and managing Power BI dashboards to visualize data and trends.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Interpret trends from data and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource management.
- Manage end-to-end project process: Oversee the successful implementation of new projects that are effectively introduced and integrated within the sales team, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, coordinate resources, and ensure timely execution. Leverage project management best practices to deliver against strategic priorities.
- Communication Skills: Deliver clear and persuasive written and verbal messages.
- Problem-Solving: Address challenges with innovative solutions and strategic thinking.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with technology platforms and software related to graphic design as well as the ability to learn HUB systems quickly and effectively.

Who you are:
- A college diploma or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- 2 - 5 years’ relevant work experience in insurance, sales or sales support, communications, analytics or a related field. We are open to training the right person that brings a strong cultural fit, aptitude for learning and a growth mindset.
- Strong background in graphic design, visual storytelling, and copywriting.
- Proficiency in Power BI and other relevant technology platforms.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication, marketing, and branding expertise.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
- Experience with a CRM system is a plus, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Ability to think critically and provide creative solutions to problems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills for effective program management.
- A motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to build rapport with sales teams, regional leadership and technical resources.
- Highly organized master of multi-tasking with an attention to detail and an inherent sense of urgency.
- Bilingual would be a very strong asset (English & French).
