As a Lead Site Manager, you will plan, execute, and finalize projects within strict deadlines and budgets. Your role includes acquiring resources, coordinating teams, and managing contractors to ensure successful project delivery. You'll define objectives, maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, and be accountable for quality, schedule, and cost. In this leadership role, you will also mentor and guide the maintenance team.

This position is based in Carseland, AB, and is open to local candidates only. CSTS/PST safety certifications are required. The shift is Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day.

Success in this role requires a strong background in mechanical or electrical trades, experience in industrial sectors such as oil and gas, a commitment to safety, and the ability to lead a team. A journeyperson trades ticket, leadership training, and civil experience are desirable but not mandatory.

What would you be doing?

  • Promoting a safe and responsible worksite, and ensuring that the employees are aware of our commitment to our client.
  • Working proactively with workers to eliminate safety incidents, track hazards, and safety concerns.
  • Ensuring the project team adheres to the quality assurance and quality control guidelines.
  • Directing and managing maintenance plan development from beginning to end.
  • Participating and submitting operational budgets and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Monitoring maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Flint and stakeholder’s safety and policy and procedure guidelines.
  • Coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supervising maintenance team members and contractors, and influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Utilizing and developing best practices for maintenance execution and management.
