About the Position:

Reporting to the Regional Property Manager, our live-in Resident Managers will maintain the building(s) and check the surrounding grounds daily. Assists residents in a timely manner, shows suites, books and schedules contractors as required.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:
  1. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
  2. Exceptional customer service skills
  3. Exceptional cleaning skills (Common areas & vacant suites)
  4. Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  5. Ability to multi-task and remain detail oriented
  6. Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  7. Sales experience is an asset
  8. Available for evenings and weekends on call
Required Skills and Abilities:
  1. Valid driver license
  2. PC skills (MS Office-Text-Email-) Knowledge of YARDI is an asset
  3. Excellent “do it yourself” skills
  4. Ability to perform minor plumbing and carpentry repairs
  5. Understanding/knowledge of HVAC systems
  6. Understanding/knowledge of Fire Safety Regulations, Life Safety Systems
  7. Able to work unsupervised both individually and part of a team
  8. Ability to lift to 15kg
  9. Ability to bend, push and pull as well as go up and down stairs
Education and Experience:
  1. High school graduate or G.E.D. certification
  2. Proficient in both written and spoken English (Second language is an asset)
  3. 2-5 years’ experience in property management or similar role preferred
  4. Criminal record background check required
