Mywaste Group - A Yorkshire based recycling and waste management company has a position for an accounts/administrator.

Working as part of the accounting team, the successful accounts/administrator will support the business and the management team with a range of accounts and customer reports/administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control
  2. Journals, VAT, Bank Reconciliation (not essential)
  3. Experience in Sage 50 Accounts System
  4. Answering the phones
  5. Updating the database
  6. Providing administration support to the team
  7. Experience of using Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Word
  8. Good organisational skills
  9. Administration tasks and communication with internal departments
  10. Payroll experience an advantage

Experience or a good understanding of the waste industry is an advantage.

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: Dependant on experience

Holiday Allowance: 30 days pro rata and increasing to 35 days after 5 years service

Job Type: Full-time
