Evergreen Communication Therapy Ltd.

is currently looking for a passionate, creative, and personable Communicative Disorders Assistant to join our clinical team to conductin person 1:1 direct therapy to children and 1:1 and small group virtual therapy to adults with acquired communication disorders.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onetoone and/or small group speech and language therapy for children and adults
  • Facilitate group therapy programs
  • Plan and prepare programming and complete other administrative tasks identified by supervising SLP and management
  • Maintain clinical documentation and data
  • Assist with client and caregiver training, workshops, and events
  • Maintain knowledge in current evidencebased practices
  • Supervise students and volunteers
  • Participate in team meetings and clinical rounds

Skills, Requirements, and Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Communicative Disorders Assistant program is an asset
  • Experience working under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Strong interpersonal skills and timemanagement skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfort using technology and software programs (i.e., Zoom, Word, Excel etc.)
  • Experience working within an interdisciplinary team
  • Takes initiative, works well independently and in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle may be required
  • Current police check for the vulnerable sector
