POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsibilities: Purchasing, logistics planning and tracking, client communications

Employment: Full-Time, up to 40 hours per week

Hours: From 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use the company's inventory management system to plan and place purchase orders
- Maintain the company's tracking files for container movements and processing
- Communicate with the company's vendors and clients regarding deliveries
- Dispatch carriers and drivers and prepare bills of lading for deliveries
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience in a purchasing role, logistics role, and/or experience working at a freight forwarder or freight broker
- Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise skills and asset
- A proactive approach to problem solving and a high degree of selfinitiative
- Clear communication abilities in English both verbal and written
- A mature and professional demeanor
Job Types:

$28.00-$32.00 per hour
