We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution and planning of logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Triage and Manage Tasks: Collaborate with senior associates to prioritize and manage tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Liaise with External Partners: Develop and maintain relationships with airlines, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Provide Support to Colleagues and Customers: Offer exceptional customer service and support to internal customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Execute Planned Logistics Solutions: Implement logistics plans, creating and managing shipment orders, and following up on orders to resolve any issues.
- Utilize World Courier Facilities and Tools: Leverage World Courier's resources and tools to comply with requirements and optimize logistics operations.
- Pre-Advise Destination Offices: Inform destination offices of shipments with special requirements, ensuring smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Enter Clear Instructions in Order Files: Accurately document shipment details, ensuring clear and precise instructions are available for all stakeholders.
- Develop Creative Solutions: Think critically and develop innovative solutions that meet the best interests of clients.
- Communicate Effectively: Build strong relationships with clients, drivers, customs, and other logistics stakeholders, ensuring open and effective communication.
- Collaborate with Global Logistics Specialists: Work closely with logistics specialists across World Courier's global network to share best practices and optimize logistics operations.
- Experience and Education: Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer care, coupled with a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Language Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and/or French.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work multiple shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Minimal Supervision: Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating independence and self-motivation.
