What you will be doing

  • The role involves providing calibration and configuration services pertaining to our instrumentation and valve lines. The role sits within our Process Group and also works with the Process Team on the configuration and deployments of Rockwell control systems. The role also involves providing PID loop tuning services to our customers as a "packaged" service.

INSTRUMENTATION SERVICES

Configuration and Commissioning Services:
- b. Detailed customer documentation in the form of baseline reports and backup files for each device and/or solution
c. Seamless transition into the operational phase, specifically in project commissioning with site management responsibility

  • Calibration Services:
- a. Traceable calibration of any measurement instrumentation
- b. Clear and comprehensive calibration certificate with conformity statement
c. Providing centralized access to all your calibration documentation and calibration history (on demand)
On-site verification to increase instrument reliability
Preventative maintenance to decrease risks of failure

VALVE SERVICES

  • Valve sizing and configurations
Seal replacements for external leaks
Packing replacements or adjustments
Fugitive emissions enhancements to valves
Trim replacements
Retrofitting or modifications to accessories or actuators on valves.
Diagnosing and correcting electronic devices

PROCESS GROUP AND ROCKWELL SERVICE
Works in conjunction with the Process Group to stage and configure PlantPAx Systems
Provides PID Loop Tuning Services
Rockwell Drive Startup Assistance
Assists with onsite PlantPAx commissioning and troubleshooting

_There will also be regular travel involved, to and from our customer sites. Travel and mileage are paid based on Gerrie Head Office in Burlington being a common start/end point for all Field Service Staff. A reliable vehicle and valid G driver's license are mandatory for employment. Out of the country travel for training, may be required._ What you bring to the table**Engineering degree or 3 year technology diploma

10+ year's previous process automation experience in an industrial environment.
