About the team


A finance department's activities can have a tremendous impact on an organization and its general performance, eXp Realty is no exception.

Our finance team provides critical information to leadership for effective management and successful outcomes.

We work closely with management throughout the organization, we manage equity, we identify risk management, ensure cash flow management as well as handle tax management.

As a successful member of the finance team you will problem solve, be highly analytical, extremely detail oriented and be a top notch communicator.


What you will do:


This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with an exceptional track record of being self-driven, self-organized with a strong need to complete tasks given, and who employs a collaborative approach to working with others and a tireless work ethic.

They must have high attention to detail, able to accurately post commission trust deposits for multiple provinces in a timely manner.

This person must have a solid understanding of methods in which commission deposits are received.

This position requires maturity, a willingness and devotion to putting the needs of the company and its agent shareholders and customers ahead of their own personal needs.


How you will make an impact:

  • Review and approve/reject all incoming Canadian commission deposits
  • Ensure accuracy of daily posting of commission trust deposits
  • Maintain the flow of each method of deposit (FTNI, Etransfer, In Branch, Wire Transfers, Bill Payments and Bank Transfers)
  • Identify commission deposit items on provincial bank statements
  • Identify any issues with commission deposits and bring to management/team lead for solutions
  • Communicate with agents (eXp agents and other brokerage agents) about the status of the deposit
  • Communicate with the Payout and Transaction teams to locate commission deposits
  • Support the trust deposit team when needed
  • Support other departments, when necessary, with monthend procedures

Specific Duties:

  • Identify and Post funds received into our Commissions trust on a daily basis.
  • Receive and process incoming mail to your allocated province
  • Match Incoming receipts from lawyer/notaries/outside brokers to our transaction waiting for payout
  • Receive and process incoming mail for your allocated province
  • Completes daily assessments of progress.

How you will grab our attention:

Education:

  • High school Diploma/GED required

Experience & Skills:

  • Real Estate backoffice and Broker Wolf experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • 2+ years in the Real Estate or Banking industry
