Robert Half is working closely with an established real estate company who is looking for a Controller to join their growing team. This great opportunity is in the East end and it is a full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities :


•Maintain system to track all construction costs, reconciling to the general ledger and the construction module in Yardi


•Prepare annual CAM statements


•Prepare charges for annual interest distribution to ACH tenants


•Provide Full Controller functions


•Prepare and analyze Net Income Reports with Variance for the Sr. Operations Manager and VP's


•Reconcile utilities sub metering remittances / Calculate and record residential electricity HST input tax credits


•Prepare cash flow reports and distributions for the senior partners and owners


•Manage accounting staff duties / Conduct annual performance reviews

Job Requirements:

Requirements:


•Post-Secondary degree or diploma in accounting / Designated or enrolled in late stages of CPA program (must)


•3+ year's relevant accounting experience & CAM's exposure


•Excellent organizational and communication skills


•Proactive, responsible, self-motivated, and organized team player


•Strong Microsoft Word and Excel


•Effective time management skills
