Do you love animals and the people who love them? Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, as our Learning & Enablement Manager, you are an ambassador of NVA Canada, you love making connections, building meaningful relationships and developing employees skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing various learning and development initiatives, in partnership with our Human Resources, Operations and Mentorship partners to support the growth and skill development of all employees across the NVA community.

Assessing the organization's training and development needs through consultation with HR, Operations Leadership and Mentorship partners to develop learning strategies for scalable and sustainable learning solutions.

Responsible for facilitating learning and development priority setting with Learning and Development committee.
Designing and implementing comprehensive learning and development programs that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Project Managing learning solutions through design/development and delivery stages and support implementation of all leadership/operational/technical training and performance support initiatives in partnership with key business leaders/partners.

Supports local site-specific training and coaching initiatives in partnership with HR Business Partners and Hospital Leadership.
Evaluating and maintaining the effectiveness of training programs and providing recommendations for improvement
Continually updates personal knowledge regarding best practices regarding trends in veterinary community care and adult education methods.
Supporting and facilitating seminars, workshops and training events to assist with developing employees' knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
10 years + demonstrated experience in developing, supporting and leading learning and development programs.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies

Strong project management and organizational skills
skilled at building relationships with varied levels of management and field operators
Relevant certifications in learning and development are a plus.
