You'll be responsible for fostering business growth and client retention by leveraging your expertise in group retirement solutions and establishing solid client relationships. We're looking for someone who is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and is excited to be part of our dynamic and evolving team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain client relationships and offer proactive consulting services, addressing inquiries related to plan design, legal requirements, investments, governance, and taxation
- Enhance client retention through strong relationship development and top-tier service delivery
- Conduct research to provide clients with guidance as needed
- Participate in finalist meetings to support new business acquisition
- Implement and service Group Retirement Solutions clients
- Expand and manage existing business while presenting tailored solutions to clients
- Support the transition of new business acquisitions to ongoing management
- Prepare meeting materials, comprehensive meeting minutes, and follow up on action items
- Establish a robust governance model for retirement clients
- Prioritize tasks effectively when faced with competing client demands
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure exceptional service delivery
- Develop and deliver member education materials and presentations
- Compose employee communications to inform plan sponsors of changes
- Provide support for the Financial Wellness solution for plan sponsors and members
- Lead and contribute to projects enhancing the client experience
- Offer expertise and assistance to meet set objectives
- Support team education and training for overall team enhancement
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and staying abreast of industry trends
Preferred Experience & Skill Set:
- 5 - 7 years' experience in retirement or pension industry with a proven track record in building strong business relationships, ideally in client-facing and advisory roles
- Solution-oriented with the ability to identify business solutions for complex needs
- Excellent business and financial acumen
- Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills
- Superb time management abilities
- Effective team player while also capable of working independently
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field
- Consideration given to RPA, CEBS designation
- Life licensed, or willingness to obtain
- Williness to travel as required
- Proficiency in French is an asset
- Positive attitude towards team collaboration, adaptability to change, and passion for client experience
