Due North is a leader in the manufacturing of quality refrigerated and frozen food merchandisers and are well known by the Minus Forty & QBD brand name of products.

A wide product portfolio of commercial refrigeration products and the ability to customize products within a short time frame, has earned us the trust and confidence of our customers in a variety of markets.

We cater to ice cream vendors, frozen novelty merchandisers, frozen food vendors, refrigerated food merchandisers, and we're business partners with major corporations in the food industry.

The purpose of this role is to lead Due North's Sales and Marketing Department and sustain revenue growth by increasing sales.

The Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing will develop and execute strategic sales plans, build relationships with customers, generate new opportunities, and oversee all sales activities.

This role will also provide direction and guidance to ensure success in meeting and exceeding organizational goals by optimizing commercial power in our organization and our brand.

Analysis and Recommendations

Lead revenue forecasting by assessing sales effectiveness by examining every aspect that affects sales, from business tactics to pricing and sales strategies, to competitor activities; and provide in-depth market research and performance analysis.

Prepare regular sales reports to track performance and adjust as needed.

Compile all analyses into presentations, reports and recommendations to present to stakeholders to determine the effectiveness of current sales initiatives against key metrics and implement changes if necessary.

Deliver customer insights by gathering data or research to analyze information about the customer to clearly identify opportunities.
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
Monitor the competitive landscape and develop strategies to become the leader in new market verticals.
Strategic Planning

Align commercial strategy with business strategy and require skills in marketing, sales, product development and customer service to drive business development and grow market share.

Lead the Strategic Sales Strategy direction and develop market penetration plans in new verticals.
Implement action plans to execute against the sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
Adhere, develop and contribute to Company policies, including health and safety policies.

Constantly look for opportunities to improve our processes and procedures and enhance our communications and the quality of our products, customer service and our life at work, including ways to eliminate processes that waste time or have no value.

Develop and execute sales strategies based on data gathered and use it to forecast sales performance and set sales targets.

Lead market research, product planning and market penetration activities.
Relationship Building and Collaboration

Work with other company leadership and executive officer team members to foster collaboration, faster revenue growth, and higher profitability by working cross-functionally.

Provide extensive functional knowledge with accomplished marketing, financial, business development and technology skills by delivering internal and external brand promises that rely on a people-first mindset.

Drive the company's customer acquisition strategy with a positive and efficient buyer experience from initial engagement through purchase completion.

Evaluate and determine stages of the sales funnel to be more customer focused.
Drive plans to launch new products and services with capabilities that can speed time to market.

Lead and develop our expansion plan to build new customer/distributor relationships to significantly grow our customer base and revenue, capitalizing in the distribution market.

Manage the Sales and Marketing Department, which includes: the Vice President of Sales, Business Development Managers, Customer Service Representatives and other Managers.

Build a sound organizational structure and a well-designed territory and account management plan that allows Business Development Managers to achieve and exceed their quotas.

Oversee all sales-related activities, including assessing, implementing and reporting on sales strategies that will bring in more revenue and grow our company.

Develop and retain sales personnel. Work with the human resources department to develop a comprehensive process for attracting, onboarding and mentoring top sales talent. This can include screening candidates and scheduling training opportunities. Develop and deliver comprehensive sales training programs to ensure optimal competency amongst sales team.
Develop, contribute to and execute annual performance reviews to align with employee performance and goals.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
~10+ years senior-level experience in sales or marketing related roles within product design, manufacturing, and/or distribution businesses.
~ Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales growth in large cooperation's in North American Markets.
~ Experienced as a Vice President of Sales and ready for the next step in their career.
~ Master of people management, collaboration, and customer focus.
~ Proficient with CRM.
