ABOUT US
Alloprof's mission is to offer free remote tutoring to all of Quebec's

students and their parents.

Last year alone, over students across Quebec used Alloprof's

free online services when they encountered difficulties with their

schoolwork and lessons. We helped them stay in school and succeed,

one problem at a time, 60 million times over. It's in Alloprof's DNA to

take advantage of new technologies to constantly improve its reach and

efficiency, with an average growth rate of 25% per year. Alloprof's

POSITION DETAILS

As the English-speaking community relations coordinator, you'll work in

the Communications team

Your main responsibilities include:


  • Manage projects engaging the Englishspeaking community: plan the
organization's participation in various conferences and events related

to education;

  • Support strategies and deployment of class tours, university
presentations, school outreach, etc;

  • Build a network of contacts and recommend opportunities to support
the visibility, the presence and the "Alloprof reflex" in English
- speaking circles;

  • Speak on behalf of Alloprof in videos, conferences, classroom
workshops and interviews for Anglophone media;

  • Train and supervise a team of animators, ensuring the quality of their
work;

  • Monitor the Englishlanguage education community in Quebec;
  • Support the communications team in various projects;
  • Take part in all other related tasks.

DESIRED PROFILE AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Fluency in spoken and written English. Excellent command of
English is required as the post holder will be in constant contact with

Anglophone partners (current and potential);

  • Experience in project management, animation and event organization,
ideally in school settings ;

  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely, as well as to create and
structure presentations that generate engagement;

  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Mastery of the Google suite's main tools;
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence platforms (an asset).

COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to work as part of a team ;
  • Flexibility and adaptability on a daytoday basis;
  • Developed sense of organization, priorities and planning to work
autonomously ;

  • Strong interest in the field of education and sociallyoriented
initiatives;

  • Belief that fun is an essential ingredient for performance and
productivity at work.

REQUIREMENTS AND OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, animation, administration,
education or any other combination of training and experience

relevant to the position ;

  • 5 years' experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent knowledge of Quebec's Englishspeaking educational
environment and the reality of school stakeholders ;

  • Bilingualism ;
  • Availability, on occasion, evenings and weekends for oneoff events
and being able to travel outside of Montreal if needed;

  • Rights to work legally in Canada and at Alloprof.
