Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Bilingual Recruiter to join our team in Ontario, Canada.

The Recruiter will be responsible for providing staffing support to ensure a positive and successful recruitment experience for all parties involved in the hiring process. By leveraging recruitment best practices and relationships with internal and external resources, the Recruiter will actively seek out top talent and fill vacancies promptly.

Responsibilities
  • Bilingual proficiency required (Fluency in both French and English).
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to design recruitment strategies and execute proactive and efficient end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Consult with hiring managers to comprehend their staffing requirements and create a customized recruitment plan for each position.
  • Assist hiring managers in developing tailored interview questionnaires for each role.
  • Identify suitable recruiting resources for each job opening.
  • Conduct candidate prescreening to present a diverse pool of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Create innovative networking strategies and social media recruiting campaigns to attract both passive and active candidates.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on requisition status, candidate profiles, and candidate quality feedback.
  • Support in salary analysis, negotiations, offer preparation, and ensure successful candidate onboarding.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal requirements related to employment laws.
  • Monitor and audit job files and oversee applicant flow tracking.
  • Prepare necessary documentation throughout the recruitment process and new employee engagement.
  • Offer ongoing communication and guidance to hiring managers to align business and recruitment strategies.
  • Engage with external vendors when needed to fill complex positions.
  • Attend job fairs, client meetings, and industry-specific events as required.
  • Uphold the Crawford Code of Conduct.
Requirements

Skills & Expertise

  • Experience in sourcing through various social media platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and industry-specific networking sites.
  • Proficiency in iCIMS, HireRight, TextRecruit, or other recruitment software.
  • Capability to adapt, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with internal stakeholders and external candidates.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct recruitment experience, either in an agency or corporate setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in direct sourcing and building a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Preferred background or knowledge in claims/insurance.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; a degree in business administration or human resources is advantageous.

Certifications

  • CHRP certification or in progress.
