Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Attends daily safety meetings and ensures all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Assists operators with staging of various vac/combo and water/steamer units;
  • Assists with job site preparation;
  • Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;
  • Assist operator in performing roadside repairs;
  • Works as part of a team with customer, coworkers & supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Required safety tickets
  • First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO/CSTS certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day);
  • Previous experience assisting the following units;
    Combo/Vac/Water/Steamer
    is an asset;
  • Previous oilsands experience is an asset;
  • Experience in a laborintensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
  • Class 5 full driver's license required;
  • Ability to work under mínimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
