The Nursing Resource Unit is currently seeking a full-time permanent Clinical Operations Coordination leader.

Reporting to the Manager, Nursing Resource Unit, your work will be critical to ensuring that the department meets goals of excellence in care, service provision and client satisfaction.

The Clinical Operations Coordination Leader (COCL) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the NRU and will support a strong and effectively integrated staffing and scheduling process to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

You will help to ensure that inpatient units and emergency department have the right staffing levels and qualified staff to perform their work.


Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: staff scheduling and coverage, assisting with recruitment and onboarding of staff, supporting the supervision of direct care staff, and providing feedback, leadership and coaching to the clinical and administrative team.

The COCL will assist with the monitoring of operating costs, budgets and resources; create reports, track NRU metrics and utilization and effectively analyze and interpret data; support staff compliance with CAMH policies and procedures and follow up on complaints and incidents.

In addition, you will be required to provide operational support to the Manager, Nursing Resource Unit.

Qualifications:

Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Please Note:
This full-time, permanent position is NOT part of any bargaining unit.
