All teachers must be prepared to use a variety of technology for planning, attendance monitoring, communicating classroom instruction and reporting, and be prepared to support the School Improvement Plan and District goals through Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing and the Four Blankets of Resilience.

Necessary Qualifications:

- possession of a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate;
- university training, or its equivalent, relevant to the posted position; and,
- successful teaching experience relevant to the posted position

***The successful applicant must:
  • demonstrate a high degree of knowledge of assessment structures;
- experience in administering and supporting others administering the ELP
- have five years successful teaching experience
- have proven skills in co
- planning, co-teaching, and co-assessing with colleagues
- working effectively with other professionals; and
- possess a B.C. Driver's License.
- lead teachers and school teams in the areas of building collaborative assessment structures;
- work alongside learning service teams in supporting assessment practice;
- work with classroom teachers in the implementation of Pathways to Learning;
- support the primacy of the classroom environment and increase the capacity to support all learners in the classroom;
- collaborate with team members to Imagine, Innovate and Inspire in alignment with structures and strategies of Pathways to Learning;
- develop and implement the K - 12 Assessment Plan;
- participation in the development of classroom-based assessment model that informs instruction and curriculum design;

  • Liaise with the district Itinerant team (MIST)
- in partnership with the Assistant Superintendent, work with the Instructional Leadership Team in building a model for job embedded, site specific, professional learning (Collaborative Learning Rounds).
