Technical Designer,
Reporting to the Head Designer, the Technical Designer will be responsible for producing sketches and technical information for technical packages.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create precise technical drawings
Enter all fabric, trim and spec information
Build detailed tech packs utilizing designer's initial flat sketch & trim sheet
Create detailed technical illustrations & specs
Communicate with import team and identify and resolve issues with production
Qualifications And Competencies:
~ DEC or Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design
~1 to 2 years experience in technical sketches
~ Strong retail background and trend awareness
~ Knowledge of garment construction and fittings
~ Detail-oriented
~ Strong verbal and written communication skills
~ Solid computer skills, Illustrator and Photoshop
~ Excellent team cooperation
~ Excellent product knowledge
~ Good sense of organization
~ Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken
