Residential Sales Representative who is passionate about building meaningful, long-term relationships.

You will be responsible for communicating inside sales service offerings to increase new customers, upselling opportunities, and assisting in the development of our TPIA sales strategy.

As a Residential Sales Representative, you are confident approaching customers in a dynamic, quick-moving, and rapidly changing environment.

Along with the responsibilities and requirements specific to this role, you are also expected to abide by and encourage Start's Code of Conduct, helping to strengthen our trusting and positive work environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Actively manage, monitor, and followup on customer sales inquiries via various contact channel.
  • Actively listen to customers, analyze their needs and offer customized solutions.
  • Meet/exceed established sales targets.
  • Treat each customer interaction as a unique experience, helping customers understand the best options to meet their specific needs
  • Effectively and appropriately take a proactive approach to informing customers about Start service offerings.
  • Seek to develop customer rapport to build a trusting and mutually effective, longterm service relationship.
  • Work within Sales and other Start teams as necessary to address and deliver the best solutions.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
  • Accurately, consistently, and effectively log details and follow appropriate processes to initiate and deliver on customer needs and expectations.
  • Participate in project initiatives that relate to the Sales.
  • Proactively look for ways to streamline and improve functions of the Sales Department.

What you should have:

  • Post secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • 35 years of relevant experience in an inside sales role.
  • Possess superior multitasking abilities.
  • Be able to achieve sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated passion for providing positive, impactful, customer experiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and superb communication skills.
  • Able to build positive and effective customer relationship.
  • An active approach to problem solving coupled with the ability to achieve results.
  • A growth mindset and flexibility, allowing you to shift tasks and priorities when circumstances dictate.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced, highenergy, team environment with an open mind and attitude to explore new technologies, improve efficiency, and embrace change.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of common browser technologies, office productivity tools, internet infrastructure, and routers and modems.
  • Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to customer confidentiality.
  • Able to perform computer work, including typing and other fine motor movements for up to 80% of each shift.
  • Able to work in a flexible work environment with a mix of 'workfromhome' and 'inoffice' situations if and as required.
  • A workfromhome location that will allow for secured, controlled environment.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Available for evenings, nights, weekends and statutory holiday coverage as required.
