The Inventory Coordinator is primarily responsible for maintaining inventory of concrete related products, receiving shipments, preparing customer orders, and ensuring products are delivered on-time. A customer centric mind-set and clean driving record are paramount in this role. If this sounds like you, apply today

Requirements:

Receive and inventory concrete related products. Verify accuracy of shipment contents. Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as required. Organize storage yard space and maintain a clean site and accurate inventory. Track, trace and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Receive purchase orders and assemble orders for delivery. Communicate with suppliers, customers and internal staff regarding deliveries, stock levels and billing. Create efficient delivery schedule. Operate delivery truck and deliver product to construction sites in Edmonton and surrounding area. Ensure delivery truck is clean and well maintained. Maintain positive relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service. Participate in all safety initiatives including wearing PPE, completing pre-trips, attending safety meetings, and identifying hazards. Provide additional backup support to the warehouse and delivery team as needed.

Qualifications:

Strong administration and communication skills. Familiarity with inventory control software including Jobber, as well as builder portals is an asset for this role. Valid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract. Previous experience operating a forklift. Familiarity with the City of Edmonton and area roads and general geography. Previous experience working in the construction or concrete industry is an asset.

Hours of Work:

Typical hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8AM – 4:30PM.

Physical Demands:
This is moderately strenuous work and frequently lifts material up to 30 pounds. Bending, crawling, lifting, and other mild physical demands maybe required.
