GFL is looking to hire a Collections Administrator to join our team The position is responsible for a pre-defined list of AR customer accounts and the timely collection of those accounts, with an emphasis on building successful internal and external relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying escalation opportunities to ensure timely collections of current billed invoices
  • Maintain the accuracy of the information retained for that customers, terms, customer defined billing requirements etc.
  • Month End consolidation and completeness of departmental tasks
  • Seeks new ideas to improve efficiency in completing own work
  • Support reporting processing
  • Customer Credit Card processing
  • Various projects to support the AR and Accounting teams as required
  • Outgoing calls up to 100 per day
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and directives from management

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Basic Accounting Knowledge
  • SAP Experience
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Internal/External Customer Service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Bilingual English/French is considered an asset
