We are hiring a Strata Building Manager in a residential building in Vancouver area

Shift: Monday
  • Friday, 9:00am 4:00pm(7hrs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily inspections of the property (interior/exterior).
-
Minor maintenance: power washing, and building repairs

  • Minor Cleaning
  • Schedule, meet, and oversee trades and other contractors in the building, ensuring projects are completed in a proper and timely manner

Conduct administrative and clerical functions such as managing social room bookings; maintaining records, directories and manuals; distributing and controlling entry fobs; and collecting/recording parking and other fees:

  • Report building issues and incidents in writing to Strata Property Manager and Strata Council
-
Act quickly and diligently to address building issues:

  • Respond to residents' queries & requests promptly and professionally
  • Facilitate resident moveins /moveouts
  • Post notices and enforce Strata bylaws and rules
  • Perform monthly security inspections & procedures (generators, fire alarm, others) as required

Work closely with and assist the Strata Property Manager, the on-site cleaning and front desk team, and Strata Council to ensure a smooth building operation

Qualifications:

  • Previous building manager experience in residential, strata or commercial setting
  • Previous experience working with contractors and mechanical equipment, an asset
  • Knowledge of operational requirements of a strata building and keen eye for identifying issues
  • Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to take direction and work with mínimal supervision
  • Selfmotivated individual who obtains satisfaction from a job well done
