Requirements:

Senior Key Account Manager - North American Retail

PORTA is seeking an influential Senior Key Account Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will play a crucial role in steering our growth and success across North America. Your responsibilities will include managing key accounts, specialty clients, distributors, and expanding our customer base. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize your expertise to identify growth opportunities, and devise effective sales strategies.

The Role:

Account Development & Management:

  • Formulate and execute an annual business plan to drive profitable sales and achieve growth targets
  • Create comprehensive account plans to propel business objectives
  • Oversee the entire sales process from product introduction to negotiation and forecasting
  • Enhance customer relationships by acting as a product and industry consultant
  • Develop revenue and POS data reports for actionable insights

Trade Strategy:

  • Design and implement promotional plans to boost revenue
  • Manage financial aspects through understanding of P&Ls

Shopper Marketing & Customer Activations:

  • Drive in-store awareness through various marketing activities
  • Coordinate trade shows and sampling initiatives
  • Engage with retailer partners for feedback and relationship building

About You:

  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Self-starter with high energy and teamwork abilities
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel

Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree, business degree preferred
  • 6-8 years of CPG sales experience
  • Strategic thinker with business acumen
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional time management
