About the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure health and safety is a priority by following company policies and procedures;
  • Wash and load parts with baskets and move through passivation process;
  • Perform maintenance including emptying, cleaning, and filling acid tanks safely and efficiently;
  • Operate sandblasting equipment to thoroughly clean stainless steel products;
  • Effectively clean stainless steel products using SURFOX machine;
  • Assemble and prepare shipments according to work order requirements;
  • Assist in loading and unloading of delivery trucks;
  • Inspect, verify and organize incoming materials;
  • Assist in cycle counts for inventory;
  • Perform quality checks to ensure that established quality standards are being maintained;
  • Process production orders within our ERP system;
  • Maintain a clean work area;
  • Other jobrelated duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What you bring

  • Related experience in shipping and receiving;
  • High School diploma or combination of education and experience is considered;
  • Customer Service focused with a positive work attitude;
  • Ability to be a team player;
  • Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail;
  • Must be able to frequently move, push, pull, lift or carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs;
  • Experience operating a forklift is an asset.

Hours of Work: 80 hours biweekly. This job requires flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends.

Hourly Wage:
Starting at $16 per hour.
