Summary


Are you enthusiastic, passionate about culinary arts, and thrive in a team environment? Dopamina, a new Mediterranean restaurant with an Asian influence opening in downtown Toronto, is seeking talented individuals to be part of our kitchen opening team.

We are hiring from junior to senior positions in the kitchen, looking for individuals with a flair for cooking, especially in high-end restaurant settings.


Salary is inclusive of gratuities and yearly bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu planning and exceution.
  • Collaborate on kitchen operation and planning.
  • Must have passion towards innovative culinary.
  • Follow recipes and ensure consistency in dishes.
  • Consistently display exceptional leadership and team spirit by providing a positive and engaging work environment and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to get along with the team.
  • Basic to intermediate understanding, including managing food costs and controls, inventory management and productivity controls.
  • Assist in kitchen inventory and ordering.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area.
  • Work in collaboration with the FOH management and staff to ensure the restaurant's vision is being achieved to provide an unprecedent experience to our guests.

Requirements:

  • 25+ years experience as a Chef within a highend restaurant environment.
  • University or college degree in culinary field.
  • Previous experience in the kitchen opening team is preferred.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, team and communication skills.
  • Food Handlers and Smart Serve
  • Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills.

Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Every Weekend
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Chef: 3 years (preferred)
  • Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
  • Culinary Degree (preferred)
