SUMMARY:
Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) will work closely with Regional and/or National Sales Management to develop a sales business plan for their territory all while learning how to engage and develop Distribution Channel Partners, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Systems Integrators and End-Users

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Achieve monthly sales goal by winning new customers and cultivating existing customersFocus on growing the current distribution channel and add new distribution in areas as needed.

Work with distribution to make sure they are trained and have the tools needed to promote the Leuze product line.

Increase technical product and application knowledge through training and self-instruction in order to competently present products and solutions to engineers, technicians and purchasing managers.

Prospecting for new customers within specific industries and vertical markets by phone, email, professional networking sites and tradeshows and scheduling in-person customer meetings with newfound prospectsConducting web-based meetings (i.e. Teams meetings) with new and existing customersSupport existing customer and distribution partner's requests with a sense of urgencyPrepare proposals and quotations to secure ordersNegotiate pricing and delivery with customersEscalate or expedite orders with Customer Care Team as needed in order to meet customer delivery expectations.

Input key sales activities into CRMProvide post-sales support for both administrative and product application requests to resolve issues or resolve conflictProvide input to Marketing to help improve Leuze brand awareness with customers and distribution partners.

Provide market and competitive information to Product Management TeamWork the Leuze exhibition at both national and local tradeshows.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors or Associates degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferredIndustrial automation sales experience is a plus but not requiredTechnical aptitude and a strong curiosity for industrial automationDesire to provide solutions to complex customer applicationsExcellent oral and written communication skillsDesire to be coached by more experience sales leaders and collaborate with peers.

Must be driven to exceed personal and company goalsAbility to negotiate, resolve conflict and perform in stressful situationsProficient with MS-Office tools and able to learn new software and CRM toolsPhysical requirements:
sitting for extended periods of time while operating a computer, driving and flying for extended periods of time while travelling to customer locations, ability to lift, push or pull products and equipment up to 50 lbs

Travel:
50% overnight travel within sales territory

WORKPLACE EXPECTATIONS:
Work schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some overtime required or the ability to attend meetings and events after normal business hours

COMPENSATION:


The base salary for a territory sales manager will range from $75K to $85K CAD, depending on experience and performance metrics.

The total compensation package also includes a generous bonus/commissions structure, in addition to the base salary.
