Position Summary:

This role is to support our external partner organizations from a clinical perspective on the Insight Health Solutions Partnerships Team.

The primary portfolio is WSIB services (assessment and treatment) in OHAP, MSK and Neurology programs. As a leader on this team, you approach relationships with a sincere desire to support others. Key Responsibilities:

The Clinical Coordinator:

  • Works closely with the program manager to ensure effective and efficient program operations
  • Tracks and monitors key performance indicators and ensures the program adheres to them
  • Reviews reports and provides coaching and feedback to the interprofessional team
  • Acts as a lead contact and liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • Summarizes complex assessment findings, facilitates case conferences and ensures consensus amongst the interprofessional team
  • Is a resource for the team on clinical matters and supports ongoing education and knowledge translation
  • Performs clinical assessment work within professional scope and provides treatment services as required

Key Qualifications:

  • Regulated Health Professional who is registered with relevant regulatory body (e.g. College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario)

  • Membership with relevant professional association preferred
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in assessing and treating patients with MSK & Neurological conditions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience providing services with a strong quality improvement focus to third party payers including WSIB
  • Customer and client centered approach to delivering excellent service, clinically and administratively
  • Evidence of continuing education, professional and personal development
  • Reliable, flexible, creative, and selfdirected professional; able to work effectively and collaboratively with an interprofessional team
  • Exercises initiative and good judgment with ability to multitask
  • Strong ability to successfully coach, develop and mentor interprofessional team members to improve clinical and administration program quality
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Coordination of WSIB services with appropriate health care and administrative professionals
  • Review and interpret reports and facilitate case conferences with WSIB
  • Participates in continuous quality improvement and evaluation
  • Contributes to the overall vision/mandate of the Program
