As a Strategic Programs Intern, you will be responsible for providing support and understanding the bids and proposals process at CDW.

We will give you the opportunity to work directly with key internal resources to collaborate on projects that directly affect the business.


What you'll do:

  • Shadow coworkers within Proposals Team, Contracts Negotiation, Services Contracts Team and Program Management to gain an understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop knowledge of customer contracting and our model for support.
  • Learn how Requests For Proposals (RFPs) drive business with our customers.
  • Administer an assigned project (i.e. proposal content creation, template library, etc) to enhance compliance, accuracy, and efficiency related to preparing written responses to bids and proposals that position CDW for success. Provide regular updates on project progress.

The 2024 Summer Internship Program will run from May 2024 to August 2024

What we're looking for:

  • Students or New Grads with the graduation date of
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Someone who is selfmotivated and driven to get results and make an impact while utilizing strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively.
  • Availability to work a 40hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer.
  • Someone who is team oriented and able to develop positive relationships with coworkers and other partners involved.
  • Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship as a fulltime coworker.
