Event Support Specialist - Hybrid Work Schedule

HUB Financial, Canada's largest Life Insurance Managing General Agency requires an individual that exhibits a high level of customer service, can multitask, and is looking for a challenging role.

Reporting to the Director, Sales Resources, the Event Support Specialist role offers a wide variety of responsibilities and the opportunity to provide seamless customer service and support on a National level.

What your day will look like:
Being creative and organizing National Event Roadshows (end to end)

Preparing and sending communications in Act-On, including posting events to Sitecore

Helping with the overflow in the Sales Resources inbox

Setting up and running webinars in Go-To-Webinar or Zoom, including liaising with speakers

Administering Life Guide, including preparing and sending out invoices

Organize and administer Master Works Professional Advisor Training courses

Other administrative tasks as required

You will be successful in this role if you have:
A positive attitude, the constant desire to help others, curiosity, and the ability to deliver consistent performance

Post-secondary education obtained at a credited community college or University

Essential to this role is time management skills and self-regulation to accomplish daily tasks in adherence to our service standards

Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written is necessary

Meticulous attention to detail required

Proficient Typing and Computer skills - especially but not limited to Windows Office & Excel

Works well independently as well as with a team

Outgoing and comfortable liaising with members of the Executive Team, Event Speakers and Carrier Reps

Knowledge of event planning is an asset

Knowledge of the Insurance and Financial Industry an asset

Working Conditions

Normal office environment and/or Hybrid Work-from-Home
