Job Description - Roving Maintenance Person

Job Title - Maintenance


Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Roving Maintenance Person is responsible for performing maintenance functions including repairs with respect to the internal and external project structures, facilities and grounds at properties within the city of Winnipeg.


Responsibilities:

  • At the direction of the Property/Resident Manager or the Maintenance Supervisor, performs all project maintenance duties, as required.
  • Completes the work outlined on the Roving Maintenance Service Orders (MSO's) in a timely fashion.


Ensures that all common areas of the buildings and lands are maintained and that all machinery and equipment is fully operational.


  • Ensures that all unit turnover work, including insuite maintenance and repairs, are completed prior to occupancy by new tenants. (Must be able to meet deadlines).
  • Ensures that adequate levels of materials and supplies for repairs and replacements are maintained.
  • Interacts with tenants in a courteous and tactful manner at all times with staff, tenants and contractors.
  • Performs various other duties and tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
  • Required to reside on premises

A reliable insured vehicle and a valid Driver's license are a requirement of the position.
