This is a 12-month mandate in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.


The mandate is under the Equality in Action Volunteer Cooperation Program (VCP), which takes place in 14 countries and 3 regions over a seven-year period The VCP aims to increase the involvement of local partners in developing countries in inclusive, innovative and sustainable development initiatives that will advance gender equality.

Oxfam's role is to support these organizations, working with the most vulnerable and marginalized people, to claim and exercise their rights.

Here's what your daily life will look like**:
In close collaboration with Oxfam's in-country team members, your mandate will be to:

  • Advise and provide partner organizations with strategic tools oriented to organizational sustainability under the learning path developed by Oxfam in Honduras;
  • Promote, support, and follow up the implementation of institutional strengthening strategies in feminist innovation, with a focus on selfprotection and selfcare;
  • Strengthen partner organizations capacities in their processes of outsourcing services, based on the support modalities identified in their capacitybuilding plans;
  • Collaborate with the advisor in monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability by providing them relevant information.

For this mandate you must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or have permanent resident status in Canada;
  • Have university degree in social sciences, organizational development, or any other relevant field;
  • Have 3 years of relevant experience to the mandate;
  • Be fluent in Spanish, spoken and written (required);
  • Master the Office Suite.

En estrecha colaboración con los miembros del equipo de Oxfam en el país, su mandato consistirá en:

  • Acompañar a las copartes en sus procesos de autodiagnósticos participativos y de fortalecimiento de capacidades organizativas, incluyendo un enfoque sobre la captación de recursos financieros, y aplicando y/o adaptando las herramientas de Oxfam;
  • Asesorar y facilitar a las copartes herramientas estratégicas orientadas a la sostenibilidad organizacional bajo la ruta de aprendizaje desarrollada por Oxfam en Honduras;
  • Fomentar, apoyar y dar seguimiento a la implementación de estrategias de fortalecimiento institucional en innovación feminista, con enfoque en autoprotección y autocuidado;
  • Fortalecer las capacidades de las copartes en sus procesos de contratación de servicios, con base en las modalidades de apoyo identificadas en sus planes de fortalecimiento de capacidades;
  • Colaborar con la persona encargada del seguimiento, la evaluación, el aprendizaje y la rendición de cuentas proporcionando la información pertinente.

Para este
mandato
debe**:

  • Ser ciudadano.a canadiense o tener la condición de residente permanente en Canadá;
  • Tener un títuló universitario en ciencias sociales, desarrollo organizativo o cualquier otro campo pertinente;
  • Tener al menos 3 años de experiência relacionada con el mandato;
  • Poseer el dominio del español hablado y escrito (obligatorio);
