Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Organize and prepare all appropriate equipment, consumables, and paperwork
  • Data collection and assessment procedures specific to pipeline integrity programs
  • Install, test, adjust/repair rectifiers, anodes, and CP test stations
  • Gather structuretosoil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier data for annual surveys
  • Complete continuity tests and soil resistivity measurements as required
  • Complete depth of cover (DOC), close interval CP (CIPS), and coating surveys (ACCA/ACVG/DCVG)
  • Maintain Rysco company vehicle
  • Completion of appropriate paperwork and reporting
  • Repair and maintain service equipment
  • Uphold Rysco's reputation for excellence
  • Participate in Rysco Health, Safety, and Environmental programs
  • Comply with Rysco's Integrated Management System (IMS)

Qualifications:

  • Basic oilfield safety training and certifications preferred
  • Clean class 5 driving license
  • NACE CP1 Certification or NACE CP2 Certification considered an asset
  • Energy Safety Canada Rectifier Training certificate considered an asset
  • Registration with AAIT for Cathodic Protection considered an asset
  • Grade 12 education
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of external corrosion oilfield service work
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Quick learner
  • Effective communicator
  • Leadership qualities
Availability - Full-time position, Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, potential for overtime.

Wage:
Commensurate with experience

Salary:
$20.00-$40.00 per hour
